What is irccd?
Irccd is a IRC bot written in C++ and Lua. It runs as a daemon and waits for events. Irccd is extendable with Lua plugins, this allow you to create anything you want.
What are the features?
Currently, irccd can use Lua plugins to interact with IRC events. This means, you can catch the messages, joining, the topic changes and many other events. There are a lot of IRC events supported.
It is also possible to control irccd with its dedicated tool called
irccdctl which allows to send messages to a channel, a query, etc.
